After an evening rain, Gay Street is still bustling with lots of art lovers as they hop galleries on the first Friday opening receptions.

It has been a hard week. Just moved into a new place with wonderful studio space and great light. I still found the time to keep painting as we unpacked boxes. See my latest piece below, "The Melting Pot".

Long night in the studio...

Well, another sleepless night but a perfect time to continue work on my latest painting. I'm working on a group of paintings to deliver to an art gallery at the end of the month. As I complete a painting, I post it on my website (www.WhitesideArt.com). Now that I have begun this blog, I'll post new works here too.
